Rabbi David Saperstein, the man declared by Newsweek magazine to be the "Most Influential Rabbi in America" will speak in Huntsville at the for the Nov. 2-3, 2014, conference, Exploring Faith Intersections.
 
Saperstein, who has been nominated to be the U.S. Ambassador for Religious Freedom, will be involved with the leadership during the Sunday, 5 p.m., opening community interfaith service that will be organized around how the world's diverse faith communities share the principles stated by the Golden Rule. The service will also include religious music from around the world. The worship service precedes the conference's opening keynote address at 7 p.m. by Bryan Stevenson, director of the nationally known, Montgomery-based Equal Justice Initiative.

Saperstein will also speak on Monday, Nov. 3, as the conference moves into the workshop mode. Monday's main keynote will be given by the Rev. Jim Wallis, director of Sojourners and a nationally known Christian advocate for justice for all and mercy for the poor.
