Stephan of the forthcoming book Why Civil Resistance Works: The Strategic Logic of Nonviolent Conflict.  In this video webinar for the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict, Dr. Chenoweth presents arguments to prove that nonviolent resistance is a far more effective method for creating social change against repressive governments than violent resistance.
