In Auburn, Alabama, two all-white fraternities wore blackface and Ku Klux Klan robes to Halloween parties; some even simulated a lynching. Both frats have been suspended. The national president of Omega Psi Phi, the black fraternity lampooned at the parties, called for more severe disciplinary action and a public apology. Wes Williams, Auburn University's vice president for student affairs, said the school would pursue the investigations aggressively.
