I appreciated Julie Polter’s piece “The Rich Get Richer” (August 2014) on the growing wage inequality between the CEOs of major corporations and their average workers. I recommend a follow-up piece on wage disparity trends in faith-based institutions and nonprofits. I’ve noted a predictable pattern of Christian-based organizations starting out demonstrating the kind of passion that has its leadership making great financial sacrifices in order to help accomplish its mission.
