Audio: For God So Loved the World

By Efrem Smith 11-04-2009

In this clip, Pastor Efrem expands on the very familiar verse John 3:16. He emphasizes that new birth through Jesus Christ is vital, but that we cannot separate new birth from the advancement of God's kingdom that confronts social injustice. Those injustices must be confronted with God's love; they are problems too big to face on our own. The problem with evangelical theology has been a narrow focus on personal salvation -- without presenting the whole picture of the kingdom of God.
