Oh yes it would! What if they took over your place of business and you were counting on a particular benefit and they did away with it? Would you be happy or sad? I don't think it's wise for a religious group to get so much power they can "force" their religion (via their money) on the employees by buying up businesses.

A hospital might have been "bought" by a Catholic comglomerate such as what happened here in Wichita. Catholic health care facilities have been buying up non religious health care instututions. Could there be some non catholics working there? Do they serve non catholics that don't share the Catholics views. Do all Catholics share the same views? Your anwer was shallow and absurd.

On NPR today they talked about this issue a couple of times. Some of the military spokepersons said that there should be a draft so these soldiers would be given a reprieve. Perhaps if there was a draft the "common" people would see the absurdity of this war and demand a stop to it. Perhaps my kids would be forced to "take up violence" too (IE: there would be no co status option).

PLease explain what you mean by religious employers.

Were you for the blunt law? Is it ok for employers to dictate what's in an insurance policy? Isn't that the job of the state's insurance commissioner and now perhaps the federal gov't to get some standards? Is it ok for the fed to determine what's in medicare and medicaid?

The show was based on Good Chrisitan Bitches but the show says it wants to be known as Good Chrisitan Belles to appease the critics. I kept wondering what GCB stood for and in the trailer for the show I saw Good Chrisitan on a book and figured the rest out. I don't know if I'll watch another episode. The show did expose how people in general are hypocrites.

I agree that churches shouldn't be polling places. Last time my township polling place was in a church too though. Talk about intimidating voters!

Is this being sarcastic? I would say "too bad about Adrew Breitbart" too! Am I being sarcastic? He has done a lot of damage in his day that ruined a lot of lives needlessly. Hope he's RIP.

I wish Rush would get another job. He's a grownup and has to take consequences for his actions.  Rush talked about this woman for 2 days in a row. I caught a few minutes of it and turned to another channel. How can anyone stand to hear his blather for a couple hours? What takes him 2 hrs to say something could be said in a few sentences. I'm glad he's loosing advertising revenue. He deserves this punishment.

I'm not surprised at the conservatives posting here who bring up the liberal broadcasters. How many more viewers does Rush have? Is he considered the spokesman of the right?

You would be ok with your boss dictating what can and can't be in your health insurance policy? How about no more health coverage for heart attacks because that costs too much (and money is his religion). Think about it. It failed and for good reason.

The only reason they pressed him on it? Really? I think they wanted a clear answer since he's said very similar things in the not too distant past. They gave him a chance to clear it up and he failed-again.
