I TAKE ISSUE with Joan D. Chittister's article "A Dangerous Discipleship" [7] in the January-February 2002 issue. Near as I can tell, she is insinuating that a person who does not agree with her beliefs regarding women's ordination cannot be a disciple of Jesus Christ. I feel that I have been called a non-disciple and marginalized right out of the discussion. This does not seem to be a peace-making, dialogue-oriented way to communicate.
