We're not sure whether they were inspired by Sojourners’ ongoing "What is an Evangelical?" [7] series, but TIME Magazine has published [8] an interesting set of short articles from influential conservatives who answer three separate, but connected questions:

  1. What does a conservative believe?
  2. Is there a crisis in the conservative movement?
  3. What are the three most important action items for the next President?

Academics, religious leaders and journalists offer their own answers.
