Sojourners Launches New Website and Digital Magazine Expanding Online Presence

Sojourners Celebrates 40 Years of Faith in Action for Social Justice

Washington, DC, – Today, Sojourners announced the launch of a new website and digital magazine, a move which will significantly expand their online presence. The new platforms further enrich the experiences of its readers, connecting them with compelling and award-winning content from a unique, progressive Christian perspective.

“As Sojourners celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, and looks with excitement and great hope toward its next 40,” says Cathleen Falsani, Online Editor and Director of New Media, “it's wonderfully appropriate to be launching a new digital iteration of the magazine and a more dynamic design for the God's Politics blog.” The new website design transforms editorial content to include more up-to date news and commentary regularly featured on the website. Falsani added, “I'm thrilled by the opportunities to foster compelling civil dialogue about the pressing issues -- spiritual, political and cultural -- that matter most to people of faith who are interested in creating a more just, peaceable and grace-filled world.”

The new online platform integrates Sojourners web and magazine content with additional resources and calls to action for churches and small groups. Subscribers to the paper magazine will receive free digital subscriptions and readers will now have the option to receive a digital edition of Sojourners for $19.95 per year. Sojourners Digital engages audiences with links to magazine extras, blog posts, campaigns, fundraising opportunities, advertisers’ websites, author’s online book reviews, e-books, and videos.
