My husband and I, too, have been long concerned with Sabbath-keeping ("All Who Labor," by Lauren Winner, September-October 2010). Somehow, though, we've slipped into a day where we rest somewhat, but not really.

I would urge young people, especially, to prepare on Friday and Saturday for the Rest. Make it happen. You can and should do it. When all the week is work, there is no time to focus on our Maker.

I understand that comments reported as abusive are reviewed by Sojourners staff and are subject to removal. Repeat offenders will be blocked from making further comments. (Proverbs 18:7)
