Kudos to Danny Duncan Collum for his column (

Kudos to Danny Duncan Collum for his column ("What Those ‘Low Prices’ Cost," February 2005). I agree with all he says about the unjust practices of Wal-Mart. However, I would urge Duncan Collum to stop "considering" a personal boycott of Wal-Mart and take the plunge. I live in Arkansas, the home of Wal-Mart, and I have boycotted the company for years. Sure, it might make life more "inconvenient," but as Christians we know doing the right thing is not always convenient.

I understand that comments reported as abusive are reviewed by Sojourners staff and are subject to removal. Repeat offenders will be blocked from making further comments. (Proverbs 18:7)
