If you're anything like us, you've probably been too busy to read much of anything this week. So as the weekend dawns, it's the perfect time to break out those notorious novels such as The Catcher in the Rye, A Brave New World, To Kill a Mockingbird or any number of other renowned and classic banned books.

Ode to a Bookstore Death
With Borders closing stores across the nation, a written list of gripes was recently displayed outside a Borders store, claiming to speak for all its employees. Among the many quips in the note, subtitled ode to a bookstore death, the writer gets at what we all suspected. "We hate when a book becomes popular simply because it was turned into a movie," and "we were never a daycare. Letting your children run free and destroy our section destroyed a piece of our souls."
