Ever wonder what other people look like when they turn the corner in a haunted house and — BOOM — out of nowhere comes that one guy dressed in a super freaky costume? Well, now we can all know. And it's awesome. [via The FW]

That awkward moment when your pet photobombs you ... and does a really good job. [via The FW]

Steven Colbert gets serious? Yes. He does. Check out some of the highlights from Stephen Colbert's interview with NPR, where Colbert discusses his love of music by explaining why he likes a few of  his favorite songs.

And while we're talking about NPR, Lord Huron, a band who released an album earlier in October and appear in our In Case You Missed It: Fall Music Roundup piece, just did a Tiny Desk Concert with the peeps over at NPR music.

Mentioning God after a win in any big league sport can induce a lot of cringing amongst viewers. But maybe God is more than just a magic Genie helping us hit home runs or score touch downs. Some pro golfers are more about the way God changes our hearts than whether we win on the field. Jeff Cranford is the president of Links Players International, a nonprofit ministry "whose chief desire is to link golfers around the world in Christ," and Cranford believes that "when you realize golf isn't the most important thing in your life, it can free you up to play better." That sounds better than, say, Tebowing it up after a birdie. [via Golf Digest]

Sojourners' very own Alycia Ashburn, Director, Creation Care Campaign, was interviewed for an article featured in OnEarth on climate change and evangelical Christian Katharine Hayhoe. It's pretty awesome.

Kristian Matsson, also known as The Tallest Man On Earth, has been one of my favorite musicians for years, and now he's covering another great artist: David Bazan. All I can do after listening to this is just sigh and smile.

Brandon Hook is the Online Assistant at Sojourners.
