Can I Visit Sojourners?
We would love to have you visit Sojourners. First, you may want to read about the history of our community.
Many visitors come to Washington, D.C., to see the sights and want to include Sojourners on their list of attractions. Long-time readers like to put faces to the names they have read for years. New-found friends are curious about our work or our intern program.
We would be happy to schedule a tour of our offices and spend some time with you sharing the Sojourners story. To arrange a visit to our office, please click here to fill out Sojourners Visitor Form. If you have any additional questions, please contact email@example.com. It takes about an hour to tour Sojourners.
If you have a group that would like to come and hear about Sojourners, we can accommodate you as well. Many high school and college groups include Sojourners on study/mission trips to Washington, D.C. We take about an hour to talk about our history and our current work and to engage the groups with questions they may have.
Please contact Sojourners at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up these group visits.
Unfortunately, we are not currently in a position to provide housing for our guests. Some alternative housing options are:
- Willam Penn House (30 @ $40-50) 202-543-5560
- International Guest House (15 @ $35) 202-726-5808
- Andrews House (5 @ $25) 202-483-0799
- Pilgrimage (6 person min. @ $18) 202-387-6615
- International Youth Hostel (250 @ $22 for non-affiliates) 202-737-2333
Also, you may want to visit some of the many ministries begun by the Church of the Saviour. There are ten major institutions that have been developed - from medical facilities to housing, from job training to addiction work, from an alternative seminary to an alternative restaurant. Jubilee Ministries is the umbrella organization that you can contact (202-328-1102) to arrange a visit or drop them an e-mail (email@example.com). Church of the Saviour has also changed dramatically over the years. If you are interested primarily in the Church of the Saviour model (a small church experience rooted in contemplative prayer, a deep sense of vocation, intentional community with a common rule of life, and a distinct ministry) you should call the Church of the Saviour Office (202-387-1617).
Thank you for your time and attention. We welcome your visit, your support, your involvement, and your prayers.
